Not all organisations are equal in the eyes of HR and L&D professionals. But which employers would they drop it all to work for? And what’s so good about them?
For recruiters, understanding what gives one business greater allure than its neighbour is the holy grail. So when People Management set out to find which organisations were most desirable to HR and L&D professionals, we didn’t just ask for the ‘who’ – we wanted the ‘why’ too.
Our list of 20 ‘most wanted’ employers, presented on these pages, was compiled after a vote of 420 readers who chose from a carefully curated long-list of 60 organisations. There are a number of surprises among the familiar names, but equally enlightening are the reasons readers gave for their choices.
How we did it
We chose 60 organisations we believed had strong appeal to HR and L&D professionals, based on the opinions of selected HR recruitment specialists, awards won for HR proficiency and general market profile. These were then put to an online vote of People Management readers.
